Clubs that run rapid tournaments 6

Several clubs around Mexico City keep their players busy with rapid events of their own. Jaque Descubierto in Azcapotzalco organises a Día de Muertos rapid at the Pabellón Azcapotzalco, the Club de Ajedrez Cuauhtémoc, placed by a 2022 guide on Avenida Tenochtitlán in Tabacalera, runs rapid and blitz events under its name, Club Iztacalco has staged a mass game in its borough, and Lubuntu plays evening tournaments under its own name.

Outside the city, Chess Maniacs in Tecámac holds numbered rapid tournaments at its own venue, and the Punto de Encuentro school and club in Valle de Chalco marked its seventh anniversary with a rapid. None of these clubs prints weekly hours, so the tournament pages and the club’s social accounts are where to find out when it meets and how to enter.
